Blogging and podcasting course, Felinfach 25th March 2009
Hi Everyone,
We hope by the end of the course today, you will be able to use your own blog to communicate with your pupils and display their work.
As promised, here's how to embed a Voki or a podcast on your blog.
Once you've created your voki at www.voki.com, save it and select 'My Voki'. Then select the voki you want to use, and choose 'blogger' from the 'embed in' section. Then copy the code and go to your blog. Select 'customise' and 'layout' then choose 'add a gadget'. Select HTML/Java script and paste the code into the contents. Save this and your voki will appear on your blog. One tip - if you're putting it at the side, choose a small voki when getting your code.
For your podcast, select 'love this podcast? add it to your blog or MySpace' then choose your colour scheme, uncheck the auto and repeat options and copy the code. Then foloow the same procedure to embed it on the blog as you did for your voki.
That's all there is to it!
Happy blogging!
Kristina
